Basic Needs

Currently 75 percentbasic-needs-logo of people living with mental illness reside in the developing world and only 10 to 20 percent of these people receive any form of treatment.

As poor as access to mental health services can be in the UK, in the developing world, it’s far worse.

This Charity uses community support, as well as treatment to help improve lives of those struggling with mental illness in countries like Kenya, Nepal, India and Vietnam.

Unicef in Syria

unicef_70_logo_enSyrians are the worlds largest humanitarian crisis, with over 6.5 million displaced. Children are facing exploitation, abuse (including early marriage and child labour) and being recruited into armed groups. It’s really horrific.

Unicef in Syria are working to help minimise the impact on children helping with sanitation, nutrition, child protection and education.
